I am currently working on my fathers maternal side - FULTON. From what I have found, Adam Fulton was born on May 11, 1846. His first child Elzie, was born in Muncie, Indiana. He moved his family when Elzie was a teenager to Plevna, Missouri, where he lived out the remainder of his life. He married Elizabeth McDaniel born March 14, 1848. They had 6 children, 2 of whom died at very early ages. The children whom survived were: Elzie Ellis, John Birt, Iva L., and Judge Pearl Fulton. They all lived in the Plevna - Lewistown area except for John Birt who moved to Fulton, Missouri, where he lived until his death in December 1966.
Other names from my fathers family are: GRIFFITH, MCLAIN or MCCLAIN, and MILLSAPP.

My mothers family contains the following names: PAYNE, POLACEK, GRUBER, and VAN STRAATEN. Most of this line has already been done. I am busy adding the information to my web page.

I began my search with my husband's family, LAMONS. Mordecai Lamons was born in approximately 1765 in Scotland. He came to the US shortly after the Revolutionary War. He settled in Morgan County, Alabama, and married Mary Kearney Black?. They had 9 children: Nancy, Flora, John, Peter, James, Susan, Malcolm, William, and Daniel. We believe Mordecai and his family lived in Alabama for the remainder of his life. Although, several of his descendants moved to West Plains, Howell Co., Missouri, and numerous other states.

I would appreciate any additional information on any of the lines that I am working. Please feel free to send me an email. If it turns out that we are related, I would like to include your information on my web page, and invite you to visit my site on "MyFamily.com". Thanks and happy researching!
