The Lambert / Larsen Families of Iowa

I am researching the families of Ole/Esther Larsen and Herbert Grant & Lillian Ross Lambert.

Ole was born in Denmark in 1850 and immigrated to the US about 1881 or 1882 Esther was also born in Denmark in 1863 and immigrated also in 1881 or 1882. They had at least 8 children that I have found on the 1900 US Census. But I have not been able to find any information abouttheir beginnings in Denmark.

Herbert and Lillian were both born in Iowa. Herbert is the son of Grant Lambert and Ella Reynolds and born in 1887. Lillian is the granddaughter of John W. Ross who died in 1865 and Rebecca Ann Ayers (1824 in PA to 1907 in IA). Her parents were Robert Ralton Ross 1863 and Sophie Schmidt, born in Germany. I have not been able to obtain any further information of Sophie.

I am also doing research for my children's fathers, Niemann and Edwards.
