Hello,

What I find as very interesting is the information on the deaths and
locations of Mary and Daniel. I have the following......

Daniel Hollar, born March 9, 1810 in Tennessee, died April 11, 1882 in
Jackson Township, Miami County, Indiana. I have copies of Land Grant
information there too.

wife--Mary Polly Breeden Goodwin born December 26, 1791 in North
Carolina, married June 21, 1828 in Blount County, Tennessee by Samuel
Hamill, JP, died August 26, 1875 in Howard County, Indiana

Children of Daniel and Mary Hollar

Jane Hollar b. ca August 1832 in Montgomery County, Indiana, married
William E. Justice ca 1848 in Howard County, Indiana

John S. Hollar b. Ca 1833 in Montgomery County, Indiana d. April 19,
1864 in Andersonville Prision, Georgia; married twice Elizabeth Ann
Caldwell m. November 9, 1853 in Kokomo, Howard County, Indiana d.
September 9, 1855, they had one child Mary Jane Hollar b. December 27,
1854 in Howard County, Indiana Daniel Hollar became the guardian at
John's death in 1864; I have copies of these records from National
Archives. 2nd wife Martha A. Vannise m. December 27, 1860 in
Crawfordsville, Montgomery County, Indiana, divorced May 15, 1862; they
had one child Ettie Allis Hollar b. July 22, 1862 guardian was William
P. Britton according to military records listed above.

Daniel Marion Hollar(my direct descendent) b. April 11, 1836 in
Crawfordsville, Montgomery County, Indiana died November 8, 1918 in
Dusty, Whitman County, Washington; married Elizabeth Ann McLaughlin b.
November 18, 1841 in Crawfordsville, Montgomery County, Indiana; m.
January 29, 1867 in Crawfordsville, Indiana died November 18, 1911 in
Spokane, Spokane County, Washington.

Adaline Hollar b. ca 1838 in Montgomery County, Indiana died Bethany,
Harrison County, Missouri; married to Blakely Martin m. January 15, 1852
in Howard County, Indiana

According to what I can gleen from my information is the sometime
between 1828 and 1830 John S. Hollar, Sr and family moved to
Crawfordsville, Montgomery County, Indiana;

1830 Montgomery County, Indiana
John S. Hollar, males 15-20=1, males 20-30=1, males 50-60=1, females
5-10=1, females 10-15=1, females 15-20=1, females 50-60=1.

1840 Montgomery County, Indiana in Union Township
Daniel Hollar, males under 5 =1, males 10-15=2, males 30-40= 1, females
under 5= 1, females 5-10=2, females 30-40= 1.

I have more in another file cabinet, let me know what you think.

The children you have for Mary and Daniel were all born after the ones I
have, so I guess they could fit in. I'm just concerned about where our
Daniel's are.

Timothy
