My mother, Phyllis Broemel was born in Cleveland, OH in 1922. In 1944 she married my father, Wm Attride in New York. My Dad was in the U.S. Navy at the time. After he got out of the service, they moved to California where he earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering at Univ. of Calif. at Berkeley. About then, 1949 they moved to the Chicago area where my two sisters were born (Sally in 1949 and Karen in 1952). Then about 1954 he took a job in southern California so I was born there (Fullerton) in 1956. In 1963 his company (North American Aviation) transferred him to Florida (the Cape Canaveral area), so I grew up in Florida and attended the Univ. of Florida where I earned a BS in Chemical Engineering in 1979. I landed a job with Eastman Kodak in eastern Tennessee where I have been ever since. Take care! David
