Notes for Ernest Frederick Langley: The gentle giant, is how I saw Uncle Ern. He had a wonderful disposition. At the time of his birth his parents lived at 16 Netley Street, Paddington. He was a carman for the railway. When we visited them he lived in West Drayton on a little farm, pigs & all. I also remember him as a fish monger. I used to visit he & Aunt Flo at their Eastcote fish & chip shop where Jimmy, their footballing son, used to pick me up & take me to the game at Fulham. I loved the fish & chip dinner with 2 slices of bread & butter & a cup of 'Rosie Lea" tea. Thanks for the memories.
