Uncle Ted as we new him was in the famous 8th. Army in the dessert campaign of WW2. He was a military Policeman. He worked at Billingsgate fish market & often brought us fish when he visited Coomassie Road.

It is thought that Ted & Alice parted company during the war. He never married again.
