This is a very early steam driven cotton gin in Silver Creek. I believe the picture was taken about 1900, no trucks, just horses and mules. You will notice they are firing the boiler with wood slabs from a saw mill. The people know they are getting their picture taken. (Photo provided by Kay Allen June 2003)
