This is in Pasco County approximate 4 miles from the north county line close to New Port Richey or Hammoth Point.

There is a John O. Douglas who deeded 80.08 acres on 5/9/1885 in Township #28, South, Range #15, East, Vol ID #511, Document #8022, (this would be within 16 miles of the above property owned by Elizabeth Douglas).

Notes for John David Douglas:
After they were married they moved to Arcadia where they lived for 19 yrs and he worked for Hollingsworth Bros (cattle company). They moved to Alva where he was the grove and cattle manager for Gilmer Heitman, Sr. (Ft. Myers News Press - 3/23/52 reporting on their Golden Wedding Anniversary).
