October 10, 2002...In my genealogy reseach, at the Vincennes court house, I found the marriage certificate of Thomas Henderson & Sarah Newcomb. My original information source, "Genealogy of THE HENDERSON FAMILY", was slightly off on the marriage date. It stated they married on October 4, 1881, but that was the "license issue date". The marriage certificate states... "joined in Marriage as Husband and Wife, Mr. Thomas Henderson and Miss Sarah Newcomb on the fifth day of October, 1881"
