I am researching the Lane family from New England.My father, John Lane was born in Hartford, Connecticut.He had family on Cape Cod - where we were raised.
On my father's side I only know his father David Benjamin Lane, Sr. and his mother Eliza Mae Robbins (whose sister was Esther Robbins married to Captain Orin(n) Crowel).Unfortunately, I have no date of births.
On my mother's side (Taylor) there are the Taylors, Blenis.The first family members I have are Davis Taylor (his wife was Cary Goff) and George Blenis (his wife was Jessie Smith). They were probably born after 1865.The first actual birthdate I have recorded is Benjamin Edward Taylor 1898.
As you can tell I am just beginning this research, but I do know that there are ties to the Mayflower.
