He Married Elizabeth Audra Moore abt: 1831 and had 4 sons with her.Issac Spicer Lane 1832,William H. Lane 1834, Samuel Albert Lane 1835 And Perry Carbern Lane1838 Elizabeth Died About 1840.He then went to Vaand Married Elizabeth Charlolte Bryan or Bryant and purchased a farm in Augusta County where he spent about 10 years. In 1850 Moved to what is now Hinkelville,Upshur County Wvbut at that time was still Augusta County Va. He Had 3 Sons and 3 Daughters by his last marriage My Great Grandfather Peter Calvin Lane born in 1848 was one of them. Samuel S Lane is the Oldest Proven Relative of the My Branch of the Lane Family in West VirginiaThere was a John Lane in Fayette County Pa,in 1813This is the right place and the right timeso There is a good possibilty this was his father.John was the son of Dutton Lane b:1820 and he John b:1770 in MDwho Had a son Samuel with no birth date or place.
