I am a researcher and writer for the Mock Family Historian quarterly, for surnames MOCK, MAUCK, MACK, MUCK, etc.I also research and keep files on LAPP families in America.
My paternal surnames also include WATSON, HICKS, HARTEL,
HERR, RUSH, and DAVID. My maternal surnames are
BRASSARD, GALLOWAY, BURNS, PORTEOUS - from North Dakota and Ontario, CANADA before that.
My Lapps are of Amish Mennonite descent, from Chester Co. PA, and then Erie Co. NY.

    Photo taken in 1978 in Sumas WA, where Jim and his siblings were all born. His wife Martha Anne still lives in their home in Sumas. Jim Lapp was a Lieutenant Colonel in the US Air Force. He served with Honor in WWII , Korea, and with S.A.C.
