Homer Burr, Rev. Glen Marr and Rev. W. G. Bailey. Interment was in Ebenezer cemetery under the direction of Warren funeral home.

      26 Jun 1975 - Funeral services for James L. Leach, 93, of Florien, were held at Antioch Baptist Church beginning at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 20, with the Rev. Harold Dunn and the Rev. Coda Salter officiating. Burial was in the Antioch Cemetery under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
      Leach died on Wednesday, June 18, in Many at 5:15 p.m. after a lengthy illness.
      Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Maudie Leach of Florien; a daughter, Mrs. Girthie Ree Anderson of Deridder; four sisters, Mrs. Pearl Wright, Mrs. Josie Salter, Mrs. Hattie Miller and Mrs. Curtis Salter all of Florien; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Pallbearers were his nephews.

      28 Sep 1988 - Mrs. Betty Mae Salter died Wednesday, September 21, 1988 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Many, La. She was 86 years of age.
      Services were held at Antioch Baptist Church on Thursday, Sept. 22, at 4 p.m. with Rev. Jimmy Evans officiating. Burial was at Antioch Cemetery under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
      Mrs. Salter taught Sunday School at Antioch Baptist Church for 22 years. She furnished flowers for Antioch Baptist Church for 34 years and ministered to her community with her bouquets for years.
      She was preceded in death by her husband, Crockett Salter, one son, Sid Salter, and three daughters, Mavis Miller, Aline Davis and Syble Bush.
      She is survived by two sons, Sherman E. Salter of Florien, Benny E. Salter of Minden; one daughter, Leona Carroll of Florien; one sister, Sally Mannings of Leesville; 23 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.
      Pallbearers were R. T. Miller, Harlan Leach, Howard Anthony, Jack Pilcher, Gordon Anthony and J. D. Salter.

      Pallbearers were Randell H. Parrott, F. P. McCormick, Jack Napier, J. J. Graves, Sam J. Scott, Cecil Tooke, John A. Patton, and J. W. Salter.
