I have a huge family! That's not a surprise, but putting it all in one place has certainly reinforced the idea. I had no idea how rich my heritage was, this is a very rewarding experience. I still have a hard time grasping that the majority of my relatives emmigrated to the new world in the 17th century.

My parents started doing research on their own sides a few years ago. I've continued the research and combined the files for efficiency.

My mother's lineage is pretty much French Canadian, with few exceptions. My mother was born in Canada, so on her side of the family, I'm a first generation American. My father's family has resided in Vermont for a few generations, but prior to 1850,almost all lived in Canada.

Researching genealogy on both sides of the border is quite a challenge since most American vital records and even immigration records only state the country, in this case, Canada. No city, no county, no leads.....I've been fairly successful finding the missing links in the lineage, but not always.

Since my family file is so large, I've only been able to put a fraction on this website. The list of individuals on my site are only my ancestors,no cousins, no aunts or uncles, not even my sister is on the list. If you wish to see a complete family tree you'll have to visit my ancestry.com site.

As always, this is a work in progress. That means the reports are not complete, will no doubt have mistakes and some pieces are still missing, if you can help solve any of the mystery please contact me at the email address. Thanks!
