Family lines being researched include Lasnitzki, Alexander, Heilbrunn, Cohn, Steg, Heineberg and Abel. The Lasnitzki family originated from Gudstad in East Prussia or Poland, and then went to Berlin until the 1930s, fleeing Hitler and emigrating to South Africa. Emil Lsnitzki married Margot Alexander in Berlin and had one son, Heinz.
Later generations left South Africa to settle in Melbourne, Australia.

The Heilbrunn Family lived in Wichmanshausen and Sontra, Kassel, Germany until the 1930s when they too emigrated to South africaas well as USA in order to flee from Nazi Germany. Leopold Heilbrunn married Louise Heineberg and had 2 children, Edith & Manfred prior to leaving Sontra.

Any information would be appreciated. I am also willing to share the information that I have.

The Heineberg Family are widely spread having emigrated to South Africa, Brazil, Argentina, Chile and USA
