"The Holcomb & Roach Families of New York State"

I am researching the Holcomb family and also the Roach & Loomis families. My great-grandfather, Michael Roach came from Ireland and I also believe my great-grandmother Caroline Loomis came from Ireland.They are the parents of my paternal grandmother Ruth Margaret Loomis Holcomb. I don't know anything about my grandfather Walter Holcomb. Any information would be helpful. I am trying to write a book for the family.
