I have just stared researching my family: Percy Lincoln Lanning, Jr. (Philadelphia, PA area, family from Trenton, NJ area; other ancestor's surnames: Skillman [Skillman Locks], Smith, Boyd, Campbell [Campbell Soup]); Mother: Florence Virginia Dingee (Philadelphia, PA [Dingee brick works], family from Wilmington, DE area [Obadiah Dingee]; other ancestor's surnames; Bush, Stewart, Reid).

I hope to get to research my husband's family also; Father: John Wheeler Lasher (born in Rockaway Beach, NY moved to Warren, PA as a young child), Mother: Marguerite Louise Mader (Warren, PA)

As I find information I will be glad to share and will welcome any information shared with me. I am especially interested in the origins of the surnames Lanning (which I believe to be Welsh) and Dingee (which is supposedly French).
