Murrah Federal Building----THOMAS, OKLAHOMA located in Custer County, is a wonderful city with a proud heritage; and whereas, "OLD THOMAS" was established in APRIL 19, 1892 when the CHEYENNE and ARAPAHO country was opened to white settlement and was named after WILLIAM EVANS THOMAS-May 26, 1849--July 30, 1917.
