Enoch Latham born about 1780-1789 married Nancy Garner, in Randolph Co., North Carolina Dec. 30, 1802! Enoch & Nancy came through Alabama, and settled in Carroll Co., Mississippi! They were living there in 1830, according to the census. Enoch went to Texas, and purchased some land, he died in Sabine Parish, Louisana about 1838. Year's later there was a document concerning the Estate of Enoch Latham Sr., and it listed heir's of his as; James L. Latham, Alfred G. Latham, Adolphus Latham of Scott Co., Ms., Wyatt G. Latham, Nancy Jane "Latham" Lewis of Webster Co., Ms., Catherine "Latham" Holland, and Martha "Latham" Phelps. All of Enoch & Nancy's children lived in Sabine Parish, Louisana! Also several of Lawrence Latham's children lived there too! Lawrence Latham was on the 1840 Census of Choctaw Co., Miss. He and James Lewis Latham was the only two Latham's families there from 1840- 1860!\\

Nancy Garner was the daughter of James Garner. And she had sister's named Rebecca, and Mary "Polly" Garner. Her brother's was Lewis, and John Garner, who settled in Bibb Co., & Shebly Co., Alabama! They all came from Randolph Co., North Carolina.

Lawrence Latham was born about 1780 in North Carolina, he died about 1876 in Scott Co., Ms. He married first to Mary "Polly" Smitherman July ,1810 in Randolph Co., N. C.! They went through Bibb Co., Alabama about 1820, and then on to Choctaw Co., Ms., about 1838-1840! Lawrence lived about 3 mile's west of Walthall, Ms., today that is were the old Rasberry Cem. was located several year's ago! Other's say there were several Latham's buried here, possible where Polly and some of her infant children were buried! Polly died about 1853. Lawrence and Polly had 12 children! After Polly's death, Lawrence married Mary Elizabeth Randolph, a widow, her first husband may have died young. She had two or three children by her first marriage! Lawrence and Mary E. had 5 children, who all lived in Scott Co., Ms. Scott Co., Ms. is where Adolphus "Dolphin" Latham settled about 1856- 1860. Lawrence had a total of 17 children by both wife's! Lawrence could have been an Uncle to James Lewis Latham! James Lewis was living at Fame, Choctaw Co.,(now Webster Co., Ms.). Fame was about 5 miles northeast of Walthall, Ms.! Lawrence Latham's oldest son; Richard Howard Latham, by his second wife Mary, lived near Ludlow, Scott Co., Ms. And, there children was buried in the "Latham's Cem." near Ludlow! Also some of Adolphus Latham children were buried here too! Including his first wife; Virginia Harriet Lawhorn! I'm sure there is connection some way here!\\

Anthony Latham was the brother of Enoch Latham, born abt. 1780, he married Margaret Shamburger, in North Carolina. They later settled in Wilcox, and Clarke Co., Alabama in the 1820's. They had a son named Anthony, who was born abt. 1796-1798 in N. C. Anthony Jr. married Isabella ? maiden name unknown! They lived in Pickens Co., Alabama, near Carrollton. Anthony & Isabella had 8 children! Several of Corneilus Latham; of Bibb Co., Ala. , decendant's also lived in Pickens Co., Alabama. Most of them lived around Gordo, and Reform!\\

Emanuel Latham was born abt. 1795, he married Sarah Lawrence Nov.21,1827 in Bibb Co., Ala., and they first settled near Bibb Co., Alabama. Emanuel later went to Carroll Co., Miss., about 1830. Thought to be the brother Branson Latham, who also came to Carroll Co., Miss.! Emanuel & Sarah had 9 children who lived in Carroll Co., and Webster Co., Miss.!\\

Branson Latham was born July 8, 1808 - died May 5, 1872 Grenada Co., Ms. He was buried at Springhill Cem., Grenada Co., Ms. He was thought to be a brother to Emanuel Latham! Could have been the son of James Latham born 1772-1837! Since they are both buried in the same Cemetery! \\

James Latham was born abt. 1772 in N. C. Came to Grenda Co., Miss. Died Apr.22, 1837 and was buried at Springhill Cem., Grenada Co., Miss.! James Latham could have been a brother to Enoch Latham, who settled there in 1830! Enoch and Nancy Jane Garner Latham had children who settled in Sabine Parish, Louisana!\\
