2. HENRY ISAAC2 LATHAM (JAMES LEWIS1) was born January 28, 1830 in Alabama, and died March 19, 1865 in Camp Chase Prison, Columbus, Ohio. He married MARGARET INDIANA MCLARTY February 16, 1854 in Columbus, Lowndes Co., Ms., daughter of ALEXANDER MCLARTY and REBECCA PARKS. She was born January 16, 1836 in Choctaw Co., Miss., and died July 16, 1898 in Lafayette Co., Miss..

Notes for HENRY ISAAC LATHAM:
Henry Isaac Latham was a private in Company B, of the 31'st Mississippi Infantry. He enlisted Sept.18, 1863 in Enterprise, Ms.

He was captured Dec.19, 1864 in Columbia, Tenn., and sent to Camp Chase Prison, near Columbus, Ohio, where arrived Jan.23, 1865.
Henry died of pneumonia on Mar.19, 1865, was buried in grave #1711 in the Confederate Cemetery, 1/3 of a mile south of the prison camp.
