1. THOMAS ALMAREEN1 WILLIAMS was born October 27, 1789 in North Carolina later settled in Clarke Co., Ga., & Blount Co., Ala., and died Bet. 1870 - 1880 in Double Springs, Oktibbeha Co., Miss.. He married (1) GILLY MANNING April 14, 1811 in Clarke Co., Georgia. She was born December 25, 1790 in South Carolina, and died Bef. 1860 in Williams Hill ,Choctaw Co., Miss.. He married (2) NANCY HALEY November 07, 1869 in Oktibbeha Co., Miss.. She was born 1829 in Tennessee, and died 1896 in Arkansas.

HOMAS ALMAREEN WILLIAMS:
Thomas A. Williams was listed in the Civil Register of County Officials, Vol. 1 - 1819-1832. He was commissioned on Oct. 25, 1821, and Mar. 29, 1823, as Justice of Peace, in Blount Co., Alabama. He was also listed as an early land owner of Blount Co., Alabama in 1819.


Thomas A. Williams and his wife, Gilly, were early settler's of Double Springs who sold land on Dec. 17, 1851, to John Rayford Fulgham, the first Fulgham to come to this part of the country. John Rayford Fulgham moved from Bibb Co., Alabama. Evidently Thomas and Gilly Williams moved on to Choctaw Co., near Ackerman, Mississippi, probably to present Williams Hill.

South East Quarter of Section Three in Township 15, of Range 2, East in the District of Lands subject to sale at Pontotoc, Mississippi, containing one hundred and sixty acre's and twenty four hundreds of an acre. Land at that time period was in Chickasaw Co., Miss.
