Michael Johann Laupp came to the United States in 1852 and went to the St.Louis area by 1854 when he married Sophia Dorthea Triebig. They were blessed with 11 children, five sons and six daughters. About 1870 he moved his family to the Oakfield District in Franklin County, Missouri. There he lived on his farm with his family untill his death in 1918. He and his wife are buried in the Pacific City Cemetery. Michael fought for Old Glory during the Civil War.
John Henry Ochs was born in Bavaria and came to Illinois, he married a Magdalena Springer who was born in Alsace France. The Ochs family settled in the Perry county Missouri area along the Mississippi River.
Martin Bukowsky was born February 1853 in West Prussia, he married a Augusta Margoretha Kruger. They came to United States in 1853 with 5 of there 12 children, both died in Franklin County and are buried in Pacific Missouri at the Catholic Cemetery.
John Snyder is from Wood County Ohio, he married a Pricilla Garwood. John was born in 1848 in Ohio, Pricilla was born in 1852 in Pennsalvania. they had three children, Jay Lawrence,Violitta M. and Arthur Floyd. Jay and Violitta stayed in Ohio and Arthur moved to Bellville Ill.
