As you can see this comes close but the dates are wrong.I checked in my Pepper Gene. book and followed Stephen Pepper(m. Sarah Simonds) family and they mentioned a son John b. Jan. 19,1791 in New Braintree and died there in 1860.He m. Eunice Hutchinson. They had a son George Dana b. in Ware,Feb. 5, 1833 d. Jan.30, 1913, m. Annie Grassie and had son Charles Hovey Pepper b.Aug.27,1864.The wife of Charles is supposed to be an Artist.Stephen could have had more than one son. I am positive your Brothers are descended from this family somehow. The Foster here is too young to be the father. All the Peppers here and others are descended from Jacob and Joseph sons of Jacob that migrated from Framingham after the earlier family migrated from Roxbury. These brothers helped carve out what would be eventually New Braintree. All the later Peppers come from these families. As far as I know the Maternal name Foster only happens in this particular family.I hope this helps a little.
