The Robert Stephens Lauries of Michigan

Updated September 5, 2000

I am lookin for information that will give the date of immigration, and hometown in Scotland for George Laurie who married Margaret Ovens in the middle to late 1800's and settled in Montgomery Alabama. They had at least six children: George, Margaret, William, James, Jack (John?), Anne. This George Laurie was a partner in Laurie & Cook or Cook and Laurie builders.

I am also looking for information on a Magdelana Phisterer, who immigrated from Germany with a new born baby boy who she gave up for adoption in 1887 in Bay City, Michigan. She later married and had children.

I am also looking for information on Mildred Lucas from (I think) Toledo, Ohio.
