Know all men by these presents that I, Solomon DAVIS, of Sugarloaf township in Columbia County and State of Pennsylvania for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred Dollars, now justly due and owing by me to Richard DAVIS of the same township, county and state and for the [sic - "the" struck out] better insuring the payment of the same to the said Richard DAVIS. Have bargained, sold, assigned, transferred and set over, and by these presents Do bargain, sell, assign, transfer and set over unto the said Richard DAVIS and his heirs, executing and administrating all my right, title, interest, estate, property, claim and Demand which I have or ever had in to or out of a certain tract of land in Sugarloaf township aforesaid containing Eighty acres be the same more or less adjoining lands of William EAGER, Matthias ROAN, Ruben [sic] DAVIS, Abraham KLINE and P. KREMER in which are erected a log house and Barn now occupied by myself the assigner herein together with all and singular the buildings, improvements, and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining. To have and to hold the above described tract of land the improvement right therein, hereditaments and premises hereby granted and assigned or intended or mentioned so to be with the appurtenances to the only proper use, benefit and behoof of him the said Richard DAVIS, his heirs and assigns forever. In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty-third day of November in the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred and twenty-five. Solomon DAVIS.{SEAL}

Sealed and delivered in presence of Rudolph SUKLER, John COOPER - - Received Nov. 23. 1825 one hundred Dollars being the Consideration Money above mentioned. Solomon DAVIS.

Columbia County SS: Be it remembered that on the day of the date of the within assignment before me, Rudolph SUKLER, one of the Justices of the Peace in and for said county personally came and appeared the within named Solomon DAVIS and acknowledged the written testament of writing to be his above act and Deed and Desired the Same might be recorded as such. Witness my hand and Seal. Rudolph SUKLER.{SEAL}

Know all men by these presents that I, Solomon DAVIS, of Sugarloaf township in Columbia County in consideration of the sum of one hundred Dollars, now justly due and owing by me to Richard DAVIS of the township and county aforesaid and for the [sic] better insuring the payment of the same. Have sold unto the said Richard DAVIS three heads of horses, four head of horned cattle, nine head of sheep, nine head of swine, Eight acres of winter grain, Two horse waggon [sic] and a plough and harrow and all the grain in the barn. In witness whereof I have hereunto affirmed my hand and Seal this twenty-third day of November in the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred and twenty-five.
