Columbia County S.S.

Letters of Administration in the estate of Reuben H. DAVIS late of Benton township, Columbia County, deceased.

Be it remembered that on the 1^st day of November A.D. 1890 Letters of Administration in due and common form of law were granted by Charles H. CAMPBELL, Register for the Probate of Wills and granting Letters of Administration in and for the County of Columbia unto S.L. DAVIS, Administrator of all and singular the goods and chattels, rights and credits which here of the said Reuben H. DAVIS, late of Benton township, Columbia County, deceased.

The said Administrator having first put in as his surety George W. FARVER and Robt. BUCKINGHAM in the sum of Eight Hundred dollars and having also been duly sworn to administer said estate well and truly according to law and to faithfully comply with the laws relating to collateral inheritance.

I Lucinda DAVIS, wife of Reuben H. DAVIS, late of Benton township, Columbia County, deceased, do hereby renounce my right to administer in the estate of my late husband Reuben H. DAVIS, deceased, and recommend the appointment of S.L. DAVIS as administrator of said estate.
