Many descendants of the pioneers of the Benton, PA, area of Columbia County got together at the beautiful St. Gabriel's Episcopal Church in Cole's Creek, Pennsylvania, in 1998. Multi-congregational worshippers met here beginning in the late 1700's, even before the first log church was built circa 1812. The inside of this small, lovely church is all chestnut wood. Stained glass windows feature pioneer names. A get-together is held every year and EVERYBODY is invited. Be sure to bring your family history papers and cameras! E-mail for more info.
