Marea Theodotia HESS (later married Daniel Monroe LAUBACH) & Marcella HESS (later married Minard ASH, twin to Millard), daughters of Ezra O. & Ella (McHENRY) HESS, in 1909. Marea died at a young age in 1948. Marcella was a well-known Benton, PA, 2nd grade school teacher for decades. When her sister passed away, Marcella -- who had no children of her own -- became a surrogate "grandmother" to her LAUBACH great nieces and nephews.
