I am researching the STONE families of northern Indiana.James M. STONE, 1778-1848, was one of the first settlers in Jay County, Indiana. Son Izariah died 1917 in Marshall County, Indiana. Any information on other STONES migrating from Gallia County, Ohio, to Indiana would be welcome. Information on the family of Abraham CRIPE, d. 1906, Elkhart County, Indiana, would be welcome also. I am also interested in researching the LAUGHLIN families of northern Indiana. I will be glad to share any information that I have.
