I am researching the Laverick family from County Durham and Northumberland, England. I have managed to find Thomas Laverick, who was born in 1838 in Benton, Northumberland, in the 1881 Census. He married Hannah (maiden name unknown) and had seven children, all born in Hetton-le-Hole, County Durham. Thomas's parents are probably William Laverick and Jane Stewart (or Stewardson) who married in between Oct-Dec 1837 in Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
I am also researching the William and Eliza Lamb family who emigrated to Utah, USA in 1854. They had ten children, most of whom emigrated tothe States with them. I am trying to find out what happened to the children, particularly Henry Charles Lamb who took an active part in the Black Hawk War (1865-1872).
Any information will be gratefully received and I am more than happy to share any information that I may have.
