George J. Lavin, Jr. of Ardmore, Pa

I am researching our family from Kiltimagh,County Mayo,Ireland. My paternal grandfather, Patrick James or James Patrick Lavin was born March 12, 1854,in the townland of Cordarragh in the parish of Killedan. He was the first child of John Lavin and Bridget nee Gill. He married Maria Foy in Philadelphia in 1884. She was the daughter of Peter Foy and Mary nee McGann from the townland of Doogary in the parish of Breaghwy, County Mayo, Ireland.
