I am researching my Bell family the earlist I have in my Tree is Alexander Bell Born About 1779 & Married to Sarah Whitehill in Bombay India I have still to find where they came from originally.
One of their Sons Charles Bell born 19-3-1811 in Calcull India Served in the Army. the family bible says he reached a rank of Colonel not sure if that is true. If any one has any information that could help me find out more on these people I would love to hear from them. I am also trying to find connections to the green family & where the came from the earlist green I have is John Henry Green born 18-2-1857 India & died April 1900 India, he was Married to Mary Ann Baker in 1884 when John died all his children were put in to Ophenages they were Margaret Ann, Rebecca, George Henry, John Clough,thomas Jeffery, Florence & Evelyn who died at birth I am particulary interested in John Clough Green. Also trying to find any information on the Barron side of the family earlist information is of Samuel Barron & Ella Parents of Bertram Walter Barron who was born 22-2-1914 In Gooty India
