I am searching for information about Henry Lawrence, who died in Louisa Co., VA about 1765. His son Thomas was a sergeant in the Revolution, went to Kentucky about 1795. I need information about the Lawrences BEFORE they went to Louisa Co., VA. Also looking for marriage of Matthew Wise, son of John (Johannis) Wise of Accomac Co., Va. Matthew went to Somerset Co., MD, his son Thomas married Mary Onions. Matthew was in Somerset/Worcester Cos., MD area in the 1740s. I am also looking for the wife and ancestors of William Gough, a NC Revolutionary soldier who served 7 years, sold his land grant, and went to KY. His daughter Abigail, I believe, married Thomas Lawrence. I am also looking for the wife of Elisha Freeman, son of John Freeman. Elisha was in Onslow Co., NC; his daughter Nancy married a Wise.--Freeman genealogy was written by Merrill Hill Mosher, published by Heritage books. Also need the wife of Isham Baucom, who went from Wake Co., NC to KY. Other families are Newbold, Purnell, Ayres, Barker many more. Willing to trade. I have quite a lot of info, about 18th century NC. |
