| I am researching the LAWSON family of Princeton, Dallas County, AR. The Freedmen Bureau records (1872) states that Jesse Lawson was born in Caswell County, NC, and raised in Person County, NC, his parents are JERRY LAWSON and CLARISSA LEE, that he is 43 years of age and that his first two children (Austin and Mary Ann) were born in Person County (but raised in Dallas County, AR). I have successfully traced Jesse Lawson's other children from 1870 forward. I am trying to find out what happened to Austin and Mary Ann.In addition, I am researching BRANDON, WATKINS, MATLOCK, PATILLO, SMITH, and WINSTEAD of Dallas and Pulaski Counties, Arkansas.Any information would be appreciated. I am willing to share the information that I have. |
