My name is David Sterling Lawson. I am a 6th generation descendent of Alexander Lawson who was born somewhere in the county of Dumfriesshire, Scotland, about 1795. Alexander Lawson left Scotland in 1817 at the age of 22 and sailed to North America arriving in New Brunswick, Canada in the same year. Any information would be appreciated.
