I have been researching my family for a number of years and enjoy it very much. I am particularly interested in locating the parents of John Newcomer who lived in North Codorus Twp, York Co.,PA in the 1830-1860s. He was probably born circa 1779 in Lancaster or York Co.
Some of my husband's ancestors are:
Atwood, Bangs, Batchelder, Billings, Lawrence, Morrill, Phillips, Prescott, Smith, Thurston, Wheelock. Most of them came from England and setted in Massachusetts.
Some of my ancestor's names are Bates, Bollinger, Brough, Dagar,Emsly, Fenton, Heagy, Hershey, Myers, Newcomer, Plasterer, Ruby, Shiffer, Smith. Most of them came from England and Germany or Switzerland and settled in Pennsylvania.
