| I am researching the Lawrence Family of Wellington and Pownal, Maine. My great-great grandfather, William Lawrence and his wife, Cordelia Lord Ward, were farmers in Wellington and are buried in the Hutchins Corner Cemetery there. William's father, Charles, born 3 Mar 1789, and his wife Mary Hutchins, moved to Wellington from Pownal, Maine sometime in the1830s. In Pownal and North Yarmouth, I am searching for information on Charles' father, William, born 26 Sep 1757; William's father, Samuel, b 3 Oct 1715 in Woburn, Mass, and Samuel's brother John and wife Mary Simonds. |
