I am researching the Turnbull family. John K. and his brother William came to the US from Nova Scotia CAN around the turn of the century. They joined the circus or so I am told and John K eventually ended up in Hannibal, MO where he met and married Mabel Louise Bode.

I am also researching Mabel Bode's history. Her mother was Mary Elizabeth Lippincott who I understand was both in either IA or OH. Mary Elizabeth's father was Captain Thomas C. Lippincott. He was a Ferry Boat Captain across the Mississippi river at Hannibal, MO before there was a bridge.

I am always willing to share information that I have and would love to correspond with other people who are researching the same family names.
