Will in Northampton County mentions his wife and his child en, grandson John Daughtrey and cousin Bryan(t) Daughtry. W itnesses were Joshua Daughtrey and Alexandria Daughtrey. Th omas and Bryan(t) purchased land in Bertie County , North C arolina on Uraha Swamp at Patterson Branch . In 1729 they a pplied for livestock marks. They were in Northampton Count y in 1741, when it was created from part of Bertie Count y In 1750/56 Thomas received a quit rent on 680 acres on U raha Swamp. It is generally considered today that the Bryan (t) listed as Thomas cousin may have been his nephew. Altho ugh not formally shown, this Bryan(t) could be shown as Bry an(t) Jr. It is thought that Thomas had a brother by the sa me name making him Bryan(t) Sr
