Some Researchers say:
The parents of this David French was Joseph French and ???Allee.
And some say:
His parents were Robert French and (1) Mary Willis, (2) Johanna Osborne.
And then there is:
MY David French Lawler; he left many records in our Family Bible, which I have, written during the late 1800's and early 1900's, for he was researching the family history back then. He says David French was the son of Robert French & Johanna Osborn.
Our lineage is as follows:
1. David French b: 06 Feb 1747 m: Sarah Wilcox Daug. of Wm.
2. David French Jr b: 30 Jan 1786 m: Margaret Noe daughter of
Lewis Noe and Phebe Mundy
3. Harriet French b 13 Nov 1821 m: Benjamin Moore Lawler
4. David French Lawler b: 21 Nov 1841 m: Helen Mary Cassaday,
granddaughter of William Harvey of WVA.
David French Lawler was my husbands gr-grandfather.
I would sincerely appreciate it if there was some one out there who can tell me, "Who were the parents of David French?" I need some help to solve this puzzle.
