My paternal grandparents came over from Ireland and Sweden.They settled in Tivoli New York and raised 10 children.All of the children grew up to hold professional careers such as pharmacist, teacher, superintendent of schools, IBM manager, cook, Rail Road engineer, property caretaker for an estate on the Hudson river.Six of the eight sons in the family served in the armed services during WWII.All returned home safely.
My maternal grandparents settled in the hills of Pennsylvania.Little is known of this side of the family so far.Much research needed still.
I Have just added information that includes the Richard Lawson
family history dating back to 1675.
