I am originally from Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England and have been researching my Family History for some fifteen years. My ancestors are found mainly in North Staffordshire and Cheshire. Surnames include LAWTON, HOLLOWAY, STONIER, GARSIDE, GOODWIN, EDWARDS, ROBERTS, MILLINGTON, MASSEY, OULTON, BEDSON, COTTRELL, HANCOCK, CUMMINS, BERKS and SHELMERDINE on my Father's side and SMITH, BULL, FREAKLEY, DRAKEFORD, HUGHES, WITHINGTON, BENTLEY, BOUGH, TAMS, BILLINGHAM AND HARRISON on my Mother's side.My eventual aim is to trace back to 1550 on all lines.
I would be pleased to share information on the above with any other interested researchers.
