My Thomas Laxton first appears on the 1820 Census, Grayson Co. VA. I want to find out where he came from prior to that. I think he was a son of Thomas of NC, and a brother to Levi Laxton of NC. I believe he was the Thomas that "went west and was never heard from. I believe his wife to be Ruth, who may have been an Osbourne. Any information would be appreciated.
