I have been doing my family history research for over 3 years
now. I started out trying to trace the women in our family
and got back to Elizabeth Lacock Fergeson b-1733 in Sussex, N.J.
I cannot find her mother, but from here I started tracing back
on the mens side and have gotten back to Reiner Reinhart Kuster
b-1542 in Kaldenkirchen, Germany. I haven't been able to find
any further info but I do know that the name "Kuster" was spelled
many ways but that my ancestors eventually went by "Kester".
The name "Rusk" is also very prominent in my research. I am
trying to link our family to David Dean Rusk, (former Secretary
of State to J.F.K.). My grandmother seems to think we are related
but it is very hard to find much information on him due to his
high position in office. If anyone can help me with any of these
unanswered leads please feel free to contact me. Thank you.
