Calease,Schilling,Skinner,Robinson,McCarty,Wix,Lease,McSwain

In my research for my family I have learned many things about myself. I have found that there is so much more than a name here. When I was a little girl my father used to tell me not to do things that were naughty because it would hurt our family name. What he didn't say was that our ancestors left us a Legacy. It took brave strong people to go out into the world, away from what they were used to, to settle this land. I have found that some of my ancestors have only been here for 100 years. It is hard for me to imagine waking up on a boat and wondering where you were going to end up. Not being able to speak the language of the people next door must have been very difficult. So to my ancestors; I salute you. I will do my best to find your stories and put them to print. I will never give up, when the days are long and I just want to sleep, I will keep on going as you had to and in the end I too will leave my children a Legacy, a Dream and a future. To Grandma, you taught me how to cherish a great man, the trees, flowers, and life and for that I thank you. To great Grandma Mary, you fed the hungry, helped cloth the poor and was always there when you were needed may you rest in peace. I will find the way. Thank you for your Visions. At this time I have found the "Family connections with the Surnames; CALEASE, SCHILLING, SKINNER, ROBINSON, MCCARTY, WIX, LEASE, MCSWAIN, COFFEE/COFFEY,AND WISE. I will be looking into each individual as I can find them.
