This is a picture of the back of the Adkins Home place on Shanty Branch, Carter CO., KY., that was built by Wiser Adkins in 1897. The Gravel road on the right is Shanty Branch Road.
This is the last know photo of the House before it was torn down in 1997. Wiser and Margerat Jane Williams Adkins are the Great grand parents of the Children of Rev. M.F. and Belva Adkins Leadingham.
