I'm Donald J. LeBlanc Sr. born 1929 in New Orleans,La. Dad was killed when I was 5 yrs. old .I never knew the LeBlanc family .A year ago I found my grandfather Caliste LeBlanc born Oct.24,1870 Terrebonne Parish.My cousin Art Landry researched Terrebonne records and got me to Francios LeBlanc born 1682 Grand Pre ,Acadia . In June of this year I went to a LDS History Room . in Winnfield ,La. Went from Francios 1682 to Alphonse born 15?? Martaize, Vienne,France . Most of my research has been Acadian Census 1671-1752 Acadian Church Records 1679-1757 .Also Colonial Settlers along Bayou Lafourche 1770-1798.As soon as I'm through I will bring something that makes more sense . tdonlesr@iamerica.net
