Hi, I'm Mike LeBlanc from South Louisiana in Cajun Country.My paternal ancestors migrated to South Louisiana from Acadia which is now a part of Nova Scotia in Canada. The main family names associated with my ancestors from that region are LeBlanc, Landry, Naquin, Forest (deForest), d'Entremont (Arcement), Dugas, Melancon, and Prejean.My maternal ancestors (Smith) migrated to North Louisiana and South Arkansas mainly from Georgia and Alabama. The main family names associated with that line are Smith, Head, Davis, Ogden, Breazeal and Blanks.I'm a member of the Terrebonne Genealogical Society based in Houma, Louisiana. I am also an avid LSU Tiger fan. Geaux Tigers!!!!!
