Notes for *Pierre "Laprade/La Pradelle"" Hebert:
Pierre and Marie-Josephe lived in the Acadian village of Beaubassin which is near modern day Amherst, Nova Scotia. Pierre managed to escape the expulsion of the Acadians and fled to Quebec. Marie-Josephe must have died around 1753 or 1754 when a list of Acadian refugees was made in LaPrarie, Quebec. Among the refugees from Riviere des Mines ou des Hebert (Minas Basin area) were "old Pierre Hebert," widower of Marie-Josephe Blou, with one child. Pierre died in Quebec in 1756 at the age of 77.
