So far my researh has lead me to know that we are part of the Kew Gerrard family tree. As my Grandmother Mable Estelle Kew is the daughter of John C. Kew and Margaret Ann Gerrard. My Grandfather John Ronald McInnis was born January 1,1880 and is the son of John McInnis and Mary McNail of Prince Edward Island. He had 2 silibings Joseph and Catherine. My Grandfather served in the First World War in the 85th Nova Scotia Highlanders Overseas Battalion. He was a Stretcher Bearer for the Medical core. After the war ended he returned home to Halifax,Nova Scotia and Mable. Getting a job we believe with the Railroad at the time being transferred leaving Halifax. He asked Mable to go with him but for some reasons of her own she choose to stay in Halifax and bring up her childred there on her own. That being the last the family ever heard of John. Still looking for contections to my Grandfather John Ronald McInnis as we beleive he may have been transferred to Ontario at the time with the Railroad and beleive he was working as a Brakeman at the time. This would have been around about 1918 to the early 1920's. Also if any one way have any information on my Grandfather's silibings Joseph born 1873 in Prince Edward Island and Catherine born 1879 in Prince Edward Island it would be much apprecated.
